Our Story
Zaragoza began as a memory — of a grandmother's kitchen, of saffron and olive oil, of evenings spent around a table that never seemed to empty. Our founders carried those memories from northern Spain to the shores of Lake Erie, determined to recreate something that felt genuinely alive.

Every plate at Zaragoza is designed to land in the middle of the table — to be pointed at, argued over, shared, and re-ordered. We don't do tasting menus or hushed reverence. We do noise and warmth and very good wine.
We know where our fish was caught, our saffron was grown, and our Rioja was bottled. That knowledge matters.
Portions are meant to share. The wine list is meant to be explored. The evening is meant to be long.
We respect classical Spanish technique — but we're not a museum. Seasonal ingredients push us forward.
